Transport for London bosses condemn youths pictured hanging off moving London bus in reckless stunt

A shocking image released by Islington police showed three thrill-seekers appear to cling to the back of a TfL bus as it sped along a road in north London.

Steve Burton, TfL’s Director of Compliance, Policing and On Streets Services branded the stunt “extremely reckless”.

He said: “This behaviour is extremely reckless and will not be tolerated.

“The actions of these individuals not only pose a risk to their personal safety, but also the safety of the drivers and passengers.”

The snap was reportedly taken by a member of the public near Archway Tube station.

A post by officers read: “This was snapped by a member of the public and sent in to us.

“Three children hanging on to the back of a moving bus.

“Obviously very dangerous, if you see this kind of activity yourself please call 999.”

TfL is helping the police with their investigation.

Anyone who witnesses similar incidents is asked to call 999.
