Jabra introduces two new wireless earbuds


Get clearer music and voice calls with these earbuds for daily and active use.

Hot on the heels of its successful wireless earbuds Elite Sport, Danish company Jabra has introduced the Elite 65t and Elite Active 65t.

The Elite 65t is designed for daily on-the-go use while the Elite Active 65 focuses on users keen on exercising and sports. Both are expected to deliver superior audio quality for calls and music without wires. The earbuds will work with Siri on iOS devices and Google Assistant on Android.

“This is a whole new range of superior sound products, based on our vast knowledge and customer feedback from earlier wireless generations,” said Jabra chief operating officer René Svendsen-Tune in a statement.

The Elite 65t has a lightweight design that is perfect for everyday use, and offers up to five hours of listening time in one charge.

The carrying case, or cradle, which is bundled with the earbuds, offers an additional 15 hours of charge. Users can simply plug the earbuds in to recharge on the go. It will be available in three versions: Black Gunmetal, Black Copper and Light/Neutral.

Priced at RM799, the Elite 65t will be go on sale at selected retailers in Malaysia in March.

For active users, the Elite Active 65t is similar to Elite 65t but with added features. It also has the durability and fit of a sporty wearable tech. The earbuds have a special coating for better grip and accelerometer for tracking via Jabra Sport Life app as well as an IP56 sweat, water and dust certification with two-year warranty.

The app includes fitness tracking statistics such distance covered, pace, route, calories burnt, as well as other custom activities such as cross training and V02Max (maximal oxygen consumption) test.

The Elite Active 65t has five hours of listening time, and an additional 15 hours of charge via the cradle, and comes in Navy/Copper. Priced at RM899, the Elite Active 65t will go on sale at selected retailers in Malaysia in May.
