Camden murder Police launch probe after woman found stabbed to death in north London flat


A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a 55-year-old woman was found in a north London flat.

Officers rushed to Fellows Road, Camden, at 10.30am on Friday to reports a body had been discovered.

A woman was found suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Paramedics from London’s Ambulance Service battled to save the victim but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they are confident of the identity of the woman but will await formal identification.

A most mortem examination will be conducted on Monday at St Pancras Mortuary.

The woman’s next of kin have been informed of the investigation, Scotland Yard said.

Detectives said they are continuing to investigate the crime and have made no arrests at this time.
